Goa - Food at its best!!

This beautiful paradise here on earth that hosts countless beaches, a rocking nightlife and the most amazing sea food at the best rates, one can never tire of returning back and enjoying the exuberant vibe this place has to offer.

With so many beaches to visit, shacks to sit at and watch the sun go down , with so many places to party at and dance the night away here are a few listed restaurants you can try out ..

RITZ PANJIM - 234 Ground Floor, Gera Imperium II, Patto Plaza, Panaji, Goa

With the perfect ambience and the amazing food this restaurant is a must visit in the north.

having been at this place for lunch we were in for a real treat.

We treated ourselves with various fish thalis, crab xec xec, prawns in rechad masala and downed it with a few chilled beers.

The ambience is great and suitable for all age groups. The service was great and the staff very friendly. The Food here is definitely value for money, for a group of 6 we paid approx INR 500 per person. For an all sea food menu totally worth it.

NAIKS FAMILY RESTAURANT & BAR - NERUL( NORTH GOA )

You definetly should not go with the outer appearance of this place as it comes across like a local bar joint but the food will make you want to come here every time you visit Goa, it gives you a feel of having a meal in one of the homes in Goa, with no great ambience or seating , just a simple comfortable seating to enjoy traditional goan food.

From calamari squids, to the traditional goan prawn curry rice, to the simplest mackarel stuffed with rechad masala, you can never get over the satisfacton it leaves on having such amazing traditional goan food in a very simple ambience.

ANANDS SEA FOOD RESTAURANT & BAR - ANJUNA SIOLIM ROAD

This restaurant & bar situated enroute Siolim, Vagator from Anjuna overlooks the fields.

What more can u ask for while sipping on a chilled beer, overlooking the fields, enjoying the cool breeze getting a feel of the laid back life Goa can offer and drooling over some of their best sea food dishes prepared in various styles.

The Mussel rawa fry was my favorite here.

Make sure you prepare yourself for some waiting time as there is always a crowd be it peak season or not.

FLORENTINE - SALIGAON

Florentine has been one of Goa's oldest restaurants, a very homely atmosphere and famous for their Chicken cafreal with traditional goan bread (poi) and a chilled beer.

This place too is always buzzing throughout the day and night.

Service is never hampered even though they have all the tables packed.

FURTADOS - COLVA

The shack is situated on colva beach which is relatively less crowded and alienated leaving the surroundings quiet and facing the sea whilst enjoying your meal is just relaxing.

We visited this place in the afternoon and we had a great view of the sea.

With a table full of seafood dishes ordered we paid a meagre 6oo INR PP.

These are definitely very few of the best restaurants that have great food and at great prices.
